The JARD J11 is a single shot, bullpup style rifle.
Inspired by artillery breech mechanisms, the chamber is secured by a rotating breech block. Weighing in at just 6 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring only 26.5" long, this rifle's unique design packs the capability of large caliber rounds into a light, short package. Don't let its length fool you; large caliber rounds will still reach respectable muzzle velocity with the J11's free float 25" barrel housed within its tubular sheath.
The robust single shot design harkens itself to use in situations where precise shot placement is critical, such as mid to large game hunting and long range bench shooting. Additionally, the J11's size and weight also makes it a great candidate for a youth hunting rifle that doesn't compromise on capability.
While traditionally the bullpup design has not been known for its capacity for quality triggers, here at JARD we wouldn't settle for playing into the stereotype. We've managed to dial in the J11's trigger to produce a 1 lb. single stage pull weight with minimal pre-travel.
