The JARD J72 is an AR platform rifle, chambered in .17 WSM - a rimfire cartridge with a super fast, flat shooting projectile ideal for varmint hunting that also retains an accuracy advantage over .22 LR. It utilizes a roller locked, direct impingement operating system without the need for the AR style buffer and buffer spring. The J72 also features a side charging handle for ease of use with optics and is offered in either a 20" or 16" barrel length with 1:9 twist. Available as a full rifle or as an assembled upper.

The JARD J72 uses a proprietary magazine that fits a Mil-spec AR-15 Magazine Well. One 10 round magazine is included with purchase. Extras available at additional charge.

Notched and lightweight hammers greatly reduce reliability for the J72 .17 WSM system. Use of mil-spec hammers is highly recommended. For optimal performance and reliability, we recommend our JARD non-adjustable 2-stage trigger with a heavy hammer spring.

This firearm upper for the ar15 in .17wsm is amazing! After the bolt action of this caliber i've fored many rounds thru, this upper is more accurate! The quaility is nothing less than awesome. The magazines, both 10 and 20 rounds are heavy, and well built. After 100 rounds, not a single misfire. I would tell all my .17wsm fans out there-don't even hesitate to add this to your ar15 platform... 5 STARS!!
