JARD Inc.'s bedding pillars for Remington® Model 700® rifles act as spacers that prevent overtightening of the stock mounting screws. Without bedding pillars, the mounting screws can easily be overtightened, compressing wooden or synthetic stocks. This compression creates uneven pressure points and affects barrel harmonics. By eliminating the possibility of overtightening the mounting screws with bedding pillars, uneven pressure points are eliminated and rifle accuracy is maintained.
