So far, happy with the upgrade. I was hoping it would be a little more crisp of a trigger break, but the lighter pull helps make up for it. The adjustment procedures included are very easy to understand and much appreciated. It definitely raised the appeal of this rifle greatly since the factory trigger system was a long heavy trigger pull of 6.5 lbs compared to the much shorter pull of 1.4lbs now. Overall a good upgrade and is worth it if you like everything about the rifle except the trigger.

This trigger was exactly what I was looking for. I really like the looks, feel, and accuracy of my Stevens 334, but the factory trigger was awful. I ordered the Jard trigger, got it within a week, was a breeze to install, and now the 334 is my favorite rifle to shoot. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

From rags to riches!

It couldn't be easier to install, truly a drop in and tighten the screws installation. The trigger pull weight from the factory was more than my trigger weight gauge could read. Now, I have no "creep" and the trigger breaks cleanly and consistently. It turned my rifle from "adequate" to being my most accurate.

Stevens 334 trigger assembly

I use the rifle for hunting i went with the 13oz model. The trigger is awesome. Improved my groups tremendously.

Improved accuracy

I bought the Stevens 334 Walnut 6.5 Creedmoor this spring. Put a Vortex Venom 5-25x56 as a budget entry level long range rifle. Zeroed it in on a lead sled at local DNR 100 yard outdoor range. Spent the summer trying different ammo getting to know the gun. Had beyond expectation success with it. But as everyone says, trigger heavy and hard. Tried everything to correct it. Saw a You Tube video of a guy reviewing the gun and talking about and installing the Jard trigger, then trying it. So I purchased it. It arrived sooner than expected. Installed easily & quick with included adjustment sheet. Went this past Friday to try it the way I have it adjusted. Due to it being so adjustable, I was able to give it a fair amount of travel with a light pull weight. This trigger is well worth the price. Used my cheap practice ammo and shot the 4 metal swinging targets at 100 yards (they had fresh paint). Shot 13 times and swung them all 13. Left 4 tight gray dots! WOW, exactly what the gun should have before shipping from Turkey. Access your firearms potential, buy a Jard trigger! You won't regret it! Thanks Jard!

Making a good Steven’s 334 GREAT!

Purchased for my budget hunting rifle and this trigger makes it feel expensive. Smooth and crisp! Adding just a drop of lube made it even better. No complaints here.

Welcomed upgrade to the Stevens 334

I got the 20-28 oz model. Still a little light for a hunting trigger but it's the heaviest they offer. I just put it in this morning. It was mostly a quick drop in job. I did have to do a little fitting with the screw that the bar for the 3rd safety position rides on. It was running into the stock and wouldn't allow use of the fully locked out 3rd position. I just marked that side of the screw head and ground a 45 degree chamfer deep enough to clear the stock, being careful to not intrude into the hex drive. After that all 3 positions work. Everything else went together with no trouble. Thoughts on the trigger: it's light and breaks crisp. There is still a tiny bit of creep in the trigger pull, but it's pretty minor. It's night and day better than the factory trigger. The safety detents are a little sloppy, and honestly feel kind of cheap for how expensive the trigger is. The safety functions correctly and the detents are tight enough that I'm confident it won't move accidentally. All in all, I'm happy with it, and really happy to finally have a decent trigger in the rifle. Gave 4 stars. The trigger function itself is 5 stars, which is the most important part. Subtracted for having to do fitment with installation, and fit the safety selector feeling sloppy.
