Good Trigger. Involved Installation.
The installation was a bit of a PITA in the particular chassis I have - the safety has just a slightly different design from the original trigger, requiring a bit more relief underneath. This, for me, required throwing my chassis on the mill and giving it that little bit of extra room. I expect this wouldn't be an issue for the original stock and/or could probably be done with hand tools without too much challenge but it would have been nice if it ended up being drop-in-and-go. That said, after I got to firing it, this thing is great! It's 'breath on it and it goes' light, which is what I wanted for this rifle. The safety is positive and, after a bunch of beating and bashing it about, I don't have any concerns, whatsoever, about the rifle discharging while the safety is on, or being put in a position where it will accidentally discharge upon the release of the safety. Along with the other upgrades to my rifle and the right ammo selection, I'm getting 1/3 MOA - 1/2 MOA pretty consistently now. I'm pretty happy with that!

Smooth
The installation with the OEM stock is as easy as it gets provided you have the proper tools for roll pins. You don't have to completely remove the pins from the receiver, just push them through enough to get the old trigger assembly out. The trigger is extremely smooth and for being single stage it is very consistent. The safety is firm to actuate but it is silent so the trade off is worth it for me, overall I'm impressed and it is a major upgrade over the cheesy OEM bladed trigger.

New Favorite!
What can I say, the price is right, the fit was right and the pull quality increased 10 fold! An added bonus for me was the safety is much smoother and quieter from Ruger’s original design. Highly recommend!! I plan to make this my new standard when building my precision shooters! Keep it up Jard and make these for every platform please!

Jard Trigger
I bought one for my Gen 2 6 ARC. It's been a game changer. The rifle shot a little over 0.5" groups but with this trigger I'm able to shoot 0.3" groups all day. I have trigger setup for 0.8 oz. I just bought another one for a Gen 1 action I'm rebarreling for a 25 Creedmore.

Fantastic trigger
I received the Jard trigger for a Ruger American Rimfire the other day, (12 oz)- after installing it this am went to the range and can say this was the BEST money I ever spent!!!! Little creep, breaks at 11.5 oz every time, easy install, now shooting 1/4 inch groups at 50 yards! I have a Timney on a Remington 700 and this is smoother ! Great work, and thank you! I have a Ruger American in 17 HMR that I will be upgrading to a Jard trigger in the future. 5 stars!

Ruger American Rimfire Straight Trigger
The factory trigger was not horrible; the Jard trigger is exceptional for the ruger amer. RF. It allows you to see what accy. your rifle is capable of. The 15oz pull wt. as with any light trigger deserves respect for safety. That said this is a very well built and safe trigger. Highly recommend.

THE ONLY AGGRAVATING PART OF THE INSTALLATION WAS NO FALT OF YOUR TRIGGER. THOSE TINY ROLL PINS ARE A PAIN. TRIED IT OUT YESTERDAY, THOUGHT IT WAS EXCELLENT!!

American Gen 1 + MDT chassis
I’m very happy with the trigger dynamic though I would prefer a slightly wider surface area to interface with. After installing the trigger unit I mounted the action into an MDT LSS gen2 chassis. The ergonomics suffered here as the trigger seems almost too short- likely because of the dimensions of the chassis. Probably not a Jard issue- just letting you know it’s not a great fit for that chassis geometry and enough of an issue that I’m changing around the rig. Not sure if the curved trigger would have been a better option.

Good trigger
Good trigger, would buy again. Average price when ordering directly from Jard, but guaranteed not to be a knock off and the shipping is quick. I ordered this trigger with the 14oz. Spring installed and the 8 oz spring on the side. Won't need the 8 oz spr8ng because it breaks at 8.9 oz to 11.7 oz. That's fifteen reps in-between that spread. A tiny bit of creep. I cant give it a value in length because I can only feel it, not see it. There's the tiniest bit of grit too, but unless youre buying triggers to compete in trigger making and not actually shooting, its worlds past serviceable. Its trully a nice trigger that works at a good price. Install is fairly easy and the factory setting very close to when I wanted to be. An added bonus is that the safety is much, much easier to emgage/disengage especially in the Sharp Bros Heatseeker chassis Ive put the rifle in. Its a bit recessed so the factory Ruger safety was difficult to put on or off. Not so with the Jard. Drop safe at the 2.5 to 3 feet or so I dropped the rifle. It weighs 10.5'ish pounds so it'd go off if it was going to. All in all, very happy with it.
