Very smooth
I expected an upgrade but this transformed my rifle. I didn't realize how bad the stock trigger was until I threw this in. No over travel, no clunky reset, its far more reliable now too. Definitely worth the money if you like the A17 but you don't like the accutrigger nonsense on a semi auto.

Second Trigger
If you're buying a Savage 17HMR or 22 Mag, plan to purchase this trigger. It is the single best thing you can do to reach the rifle's accuracy potential. Easy installation and the two rifles I installed them in work perfectly. Otherwise you're just wasting ammo.

The first trigger I received was defective and if I wanted to avoid weeks of returning and reshipping another trigger, I had to buy a second trigger. I wasn’t thrilled with that but I’m not sure how else it could have been done. In any case, the bottom line is that if I had to shoot my A17 with the original acu trigger,, I would have gotten rid of it. While the JARD trigger is not perfect, it’s close enough. Materials are first class and the execution is excellent. With the JARD trigger my Savage A17 is the joy to shoot that I was hoping for.

JARD Trigger
I anxiously installed my new trigger assembly into a Boyd custom stock realizing a bit late that it was bigger at the bottom than the stock trigger assembly. After modifying the stock to accommodate the new trigger, everything went as expected. The trigger is glass smooth compared to the factory trigger. My Savage A17 can now shoot tight groups and there have been no feed problems at all. I’m very happy with the new trigger since it’s made the A17 an excellent target rifle which I’ll be taking groundhog hunting often.

A huge step up for a Savage A17 HMR
I was a bit hesitant as this trigger cost 1/2 the original price of the rifle itself; WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Quick off-hand shots on surprised running prairie dogs are a snap now(well, most of the time...??). Tightened up my groups @ 100 yards by 3/4 inch, made this rifle a tack driving joy to shoot. I'm really happy with it??Thank You for a Great Trigger!

A17 Trigger
I installed the Jard trigger in my A17 with no issues. As someone with a machining/ gunsmithing background, I appreciate the quality and feel the price is in line with what you’re getting. I live in the nw mountains of North Carolina and use my Savage for short range shots at groundhogs/woodchucks when distances are less than 125 yards. It has performed flawlessly and has greatly increased my hit ratio dramatically! Thanks for putting out a fine product!

Excellent Triggers
Very easy installation. Got the 1-1/2 lb version. So smooth and predictable. So much better than the accu trigger. It's a squirrel getting machine now. I have one on the 17 HMR and 22 Magnum now.

JARD for Savage A22 22LR
I always found this semiauto accurate to a degree iso it's poor Accutrigger. At last, I came across JARD making a replacement. Now, I confirmed what I suspected: with me now able to make a nice trigger pull at 1.5 lb, this is becoming an MOA rifle. Tomorrow I am trying it at 100m. Up to now, I daren't go beyond 50m. Thumbs up to JARD for making such a smooth, clean-breaking trigger.

Great Trigger
I purchased a thumbhole Savage A17 and found the trigger pull to be somewhere between 7 and 10 pounds. I don't have a trigger pull gauge. Following Savage's instructions I had no luck in adjusting the trigger pull. The Jard I ordered online arrived in less than a week. All though instillation is rather straight forward and simple, I reviewed a number of instructional videos I found online. What a Trigger! The crisp, 2-pound pull is superb. The JARD trigger changed a what was essentially, a useless weapon into a first-class firearm.
